About Shuli Song: Shuli Song is a junior (11th grade) at The Classical Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. She has won awards in numerous math competitions including MathCounts (3), Rocky Mountain Talent Search (2), and the American Mathematics Contests (5). Shuli was a recipient of the Colorado Springs Mayor’s Award in 2005 and the Colorado Math Awards in 2006, 2007 and 2008. Her leadership skills span from participating in student council to coaching the MathCounts team at her school. In addition to active community service participation, she is also a NSF youth volunteer in the Colorado Springs chapter. Along with her father Dr. Ming Song, Shuli is tutoring NSF children in a year long program to raise money for scholarships for students in India. Her mom, Yanna and younger sister, Angela support and encourage her in all her endeavours.
