NSF believes that Bee competitions help children to improve their communication, leadership skills and self confidence, and empower them to become better citizens of tomorrow. Keeping this vision, NSF has started to conduct Bee competitions in India in the year 2010.
These competitions are conducted annually in two stages. In the preliminary round, children participate in the competitions held at their respective schools. Winners of these competitions compete at the National Finals.
Starting 2015, NSF also started conducting similar competitions across the country to promote creative learning among the less fortunate but bright children from the rural areas. This initiative is partially funded by the money raised through holding Bee competitions in the private schools.
