Welcome to Kurnool Chapter
Kurnool is the seventh most populous city of Andhra Pradesh and also served as the capital of the State from 1953-1956, before capital shifted 200km away to Hyderabad. The main language is Telugu. The name Kurnool is derived from Kandenavolu meaning the city of grease.
