The NorthSouth Foundation is committed to protecting the health and safety of all of our participants, parents and volunteers. Accordingly, we are complying with the social distancing policies adopted by many organizations across the U.S., and postponing all events for the next 5 weeks, through April 15. This includes the regional contests on March 14-15 and April 4-5.

We are evaluating what to do about contests and events scheduled after April 15. As you can imagine based on this dynamic situation, the rescheduling of contests will take some time. Your chapter directors and the National Team will be working on them once we see some clarity on the continuing developments around COVID-19.

For those of you impacted by the postponement of the March and April events, you can either change to another chapter or wait for the rescheduled dates to be announced, latest by March 31, 2020. Once the rescheduled dates are published, we would like you to take advantage of new opportunities to participate in the contests. If you cannot make the new schedule at your chapter, you have the following options:

• Change to another chapter where the dates are more convenient
• Consider your payment as a 100% tax-deductible donation to help a poor child go to college in India
• File for a refund online by logging in as parent, select Profile tab and select reason as “Canceled by NorthSouth”
