Aparna Manda, lives in Dallas, Texas and works as the Director of Pricing Operations @ Texas Instruments. She has a master’s in electrical engineering and is currently pursuing her MBA at University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. She is an engineer at heart, an inclusion advocate and very passionate about gender equity in the workforce and community.

Sam Rega is a senior producer for CNBC's digital video team. He's also a documentary producer and director. His latest film, "Spelling the Dream," explores the trend of Indian Americans winning the Scripps National Spelling Bee and can be watched on Netflix.

Czarina Hagedorn

Czarina is an Executive Assistant with 7+ years of partnering with C-Level Executives. She currently works at a point-of-care medical technology company combining science and technology to improve health and wellness. Czarina graduated from California State University, Stanislaus with a B.A. in Sociology and is currently a MBA candidate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Class of ‘22.

Shruta Satam

Shruta is the mom of a wonderful toddler and a director at Deloitte. These are two roles that keep her busy but in her spare time she likes reading, listening to jazz, learning to play the piano, and promoting causes related to children, education, and social good. Shruta also has a Master’s degree from SUNY-Buffalo and is currently pursuing an MBA.

Lalitha Ramalingam

Lalitha Ramalingam is an IT professional with extensive educational background working in South Florida. She is also a wife and mother of two children. She is an avid reader with interest in a wide variety of genres and enjoys reading the latest releases of her favorite authors. Lalitha's love for reading started in her primary education when she was introduced to poetry and classics by Shakespeare and Charles Dickens. Over the period of time this transcended into a major hobby. Her Children were NorthSouth contestants and now volunteer as pronouncers /judges for the Fort Lauderdale chapter. Lalitha, along with her husband, have also been longtime NorthSouth volunteers as a judge for Spelling Bee, Vocabulary Bee and Essay writing.

Eduardo Rocha

Eduardo Rocha is a Brazilian from Rio de Janeiro with about 15 years of work experience, with a career that started in Brazil and continued in many other countries such as Oman, UAE, Malaysia and Colombia. He values diverse teams that bring different ideas and perspectives making the whole working experience very enriching. He is married to a Malaysian and they have two kids, Benjamin (2020) and Julia (2021). Eduardo enjoys reading and learning, practicing sports like kitesurfing and spending quality time with his family as close as possible to the nature.

Kala Kumar

I am a Physician, recently retired after 25 years of practice. My specialty is Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I am now enjoying the blissful role of being a grandmother to two boys 6 and 4.

Nikita Sampath

Nikita Sampath is a documentary filmmaker and journalist who currently works in higher education. She has taught and helped teach multimedia storytelling to students in high school, college and at the graduate school level.
Nikita was an Associate Editor, India, for Google News from 2017 to 2018 and has freelanced for news outlets, non-profits and small businesses in the Greater Boston area since 2015.

Amudha Madhan

Amudha Madhan lives in Bolingbrook, IL. She holds a Masters in English Literature from India and has been living in the US for over 20 years. She has taught courses in Business Communication, Communication Skills, Rhetoric & Composition and Research writing in Universities, Colleges and Technical institutes in India and in the US. She is currently a full time job coach for the Work Training Partnership program at Joliet Junior College. Amudha has been with the North South Foundation for nearly a decade, teaching and coordinating various programs for NorthSouth. She presently helps coordinate the Universal Values Program and also teaches Public Speaking.
Amudha is passionate about working with children in shaping their overall development in both the academic field and their value system. In her free time she loves reading, attending spiritual discourses and gardening.

Latha Kandaswamy

Latha Kandaswamy is a long time volunteer of North South Foundation, for more than 15 years. She is one of the core volunteers of Princeton Chapter and has volunteered as NorthSouth online coach at the National level. Her children Adarsh and Raagini have been NorthSouth contestants and volunteers at Princeton Chapter as well. A software engineer by profession, her favorite activities include reading, gardening, hiking and spending lovely time with family and friends. Her belief and love in educating underprivileged children for a better World and future, led her to North South Foundation. She is thankful that volunteering a few hours for NorthSouth has given a chance to be a small part in this great effort
